Giving Back to the Communities We Serve

Each year, Berkley Southwest demonstrates its unwavering commitment to supporting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital through dedicated fundraising initiatives. Our annual fundraising efforts led by our dedicated team have become a cornerstone of our philanthropic endeavors, with the most recent campaign in December 2023 raising over $6,000 that was doubled through W. R. Berkley Corporation Charitable Foundation corporate matching. This substantial financial support plays a crucial role in advancing the mission of St. Jude, ensuring that children battling cancer and other life-threatening diseases receive the best possible care and treatment.

Berkley Southwest actively champions the cause of the TSC Alliance in the fight against Tuberous Sclerosis Complex (TSC). In May 2023, we participated in the Step Forward to Cure event, contributing to the awareness and funds for TSC research and support.

Berkley Southwest is deeply committed to addressing food insecurity within the community by actively supporting various food banks, including those in Irving (Irv), Little Rock (LIT), and San Antonio (SAT). We channel our commitment through a multifaceted approach, engaging in both volunteer hours and organized food drives. Employees from Berkley Southwest generously contribute their time and effort to volunteer at local food banks, aiding in the distribution of essential resources to those in need.

Berkley Southwest supports Vogel Alcove — a commendable initiative that focuses on providing essential services for homeless children — through the creation of "Bye Bye Bags”. Ranging from school supplies to nutritious snacks, these bags are designed to meet the after school needs of these children.
